dried coneflower from my garden (this cutting is 3" in length)This summer has been brutal. Richmond, VA folks know that all our lawns are dead and crunchy and our gardens* are suffering in this extreme heat and humidity. And almost no rain to speak of. This poor flower barely had a chance. I just hope it's strong enough to come back next season.
*people and pets are suffering, too!
